Dawn apparently has short-term love and long-term love, like a business lender. Short-term love requires a high rate of interest that Dawn can't pay for very long. Jared will learn his relationship is based on a low rate of interest.

Hmmm…someone has been sneaking around Mary’s bushes listening, but was so confused and appalled by Dawn’s behavior, they drew a question mark next to Mary’s window. But who could it have been? Toby? Dr. Jeff? Wilbur, who was outside preparing to serenade Estelle again?
