@KitKat, thanks, friend. I guess I felt bad for a grieving and abandoned kid, and thought her cuddling with Greta was kinda sweet. Toby, however is fair game, and someone I can sink my snark into!
Toby was fine with takeout when Ian brought his boss home for dinner, but it has to be perfect banana bread for the Charterstone whatever-it-is meeting? She's terrified! I feel like this is a scene pulled from Shirley Jackson's "The Lottery." Everyone else is bringing some baked good, and the person who pulls the ticket for the worst one will be stoned to death. Or stale-baked-products-ed to death. (Either one works for me.) No wonder she's desperate for Gram's secret ingredient!
