Mary Worth 3546

I find it ironic that Karen Moy is writing a male character who doesn't understand a female friend's emotions, all the time thinking that the male character would actually care.

  1. WWWD (what would Wilbur do?)

Of course! It's boombox-outside-her-window time! I suggest The Four Seasons' "Big Girls Don't Cry."

  2. I miss the original Saul. The one who would have just said "What the @#$%^ is wrong with you!? Whatever you're feeling, just crumple it into a tight ball, wrap that ball in layers of bitterness, and swallow it down deep."

  4. It’s possible that Eve began crying when she realized that Saul’s idea of a great time is wandering aimlessly through a mall.

Is June commenting on this storyline by featuring a view of Saul’s nostrils today?

Tim S, your comment is so apt. What we need is Toby insulting Saul and Greta, a la “Old Man Wynter and his annoying dog,” in hopes of restoring Saul’s cranky, crabby persona. That would be bracing!

  5. If memory serves me, Mary hasn't yet met Eve in person. Pretty sure this week of Saul marveling over getting no communication from Eve will end with his running into Mary, maybe when Mary steps in Greta's "business" before Saul has the chance to scoop it up...(a girl can hope, anyway). I suspect Mary may choose to intervene with Eve directly instead of advising the hapless Saul since she has been AWOL except for advice for a number of recent Charterstone tales. Let the meddling begin!

  6. I'm afraid the Moy-bot keeps electronically transmitting the same script every day for two weeks now. It's a compliment to Ms. Brigman's talent that she keeps making different art for the same two panels.

No, we can't impeach Moy. But we could possibly (peaceably) protest at the Moy mansion for new word balloons. Yes, the Moy mansion ... purchased with that sweet, sweet endless Mary Worth money.

  7. OMG, yes. Every day I read Mary Worth and wonder : Did Comics Kingdom miss an update? But I've quit checking the previous story. This is where we are, and where we forever will be.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
