Mary Worth 3555

Max eats the pigeon.

Wow! It is definitely a good thing that Saul is still a "young stud" because he just caught a falling 175 pounds with his forearm and wrist. I'm sure he will have no problem relocating her shoulder either.

  1. Eve can get rid of that LifeAlert she's got hidden underneath that scarf now that Saul's around

  2. Uh oh. Yet another of her crying jags. Will Greta lap up those tears tomorrow? This is moving too fast for me. After weeks of nothing happening, Eve has ALMOST FALLEN DOWN over the last two days.

  3. I think Saul was probably more concerned about his dog than he was about Eve. If she'd fallen on top of Greta, it would not have ended well.

In any case, I do wish he'd grabbed her by her scarf. I still want to see what it is that she's hiding under there!

  4. Today's Boldface Haiku is titled

"She Walks In Beauty Like The Night".

    Augghh!

  5. In an instant, Saul was able to grab Eve's arm with his left hand and reverse his grip on Greta's leash with his right hand. That's some impressive dexterity for an old guy.

  6. Nance, you have outdone youself with today's title!

  7. So this is what Saul had to do to get Eve to sit still and open up about her anxiety?! I wait breathlessly to see what connection there is between her fear of mannequins (or bow ties or men's suits) and a reasonable fear of falling when yanked by a bird-chasing hound.

  8. Today’s action-packed episode made me immediately think of “I Got You, Babe.” That prompted me to picture Saul with a droopy black mustache and Eve with long black hair. Fur vests, anyone? Augghh!

    Nance, you cracked me up!

HelenClark, if Eve had fallen on top of Saul it would not have ended well.

  9. “Augghh!” is basically the “aloha” of the Worthiverse; it’s never inappropriate — and you can use it day after day after day.

  10. Saul: "Eve, there you go again with the crying. That does it! We are going straight to Urgent Care."

  11. Hey Saul, this Eve is really not that much of a catch. Keep swiping.

  12. @TheRingoKid, @KitKat--Thank you!

  13. KitKat, at first I was thinking the same thing, but “I Got You, Babe" is reserved for Tommy B, and with Eve's hearty "AAUGH!" I realized she and Saul are actually performing a cover of the James Brown classic.

Wanders, can you add this request to the agenda for the next condo board meeting?

(Time will tell whether she feels nice like sugar and spice as the song goes).
