ReplyDeleteUh oh. Yet another of her crying jags. Will Greta lap up those tears tomorrow? This is moving too fast for me. After weeks of nothing happening, Eve has ALMOST FALLEN DOWN over the last two days.
ReplyDeleteI think Saul was probably more concerned about his dog than he was about Eve. If she'd fallen on top of Greta, it would not have ended well.

ReplyDeleteSo this is what Saul had to do to get Eve to sit still and open up about her anxiety?! I wait breathlessly to see what connection there is between her fear of mannequins (or bow ties or men's suits) and a reasonable fear of falling when yanked by a bird-chasing hound.
ReplyDeleteToday’s action-packed episode made me immediately think of “I Got You, Babe.” That prompted me to picture Saul with a droopy black mustache and Eve with long black hair. Fur vests, anyone? Augghh!

“Augghh!” is basically the “aloha” of the Worthiverse; it’s never inappropriate — and you can use it day after day after day.

ReplyDeleteKitKat, at first I was thinking the same thing, but “I Got You, Babe" is reserved for Tommy B, and with Eve's hearty "AAUGH!" I realized she and Saul are actually performing a cover of the James Brown classic.
