"Maybe having a dog will bring out the caring side a ME buried under all this muscle and crooner's good looks."

  1. “And, by the way, Wilbur, in honor of how Greta has benefited Saul and all of us, the muffin variety you’re eating is ‘Rachael Ray Nutrish Num Yums.’ You seem to love it!”

  2. Wilbur is a fate I wouldn’t wish on a dog. Or Iris’ cat.

  3. "So people own these dogs, you say? And these people like owning their dogs? Well you learn something new every day!"

  4. SUNDAY. So, Wilbur is considering getting a dog because dogs are “chick magnets”???

Wilbur, I think I can speak for all women, everywhere, when I say BLEEEAUGGH!!

  5. An entire pack of dogs couldn’t make Wilbur a chick magnet. I remember way back in the school days when the teacher would use iron filings to demonstrate magnetic principles. Wilbur would be the filings repelled, not attracted, by the magnet. A box of rocks has more self awareness than Wilbur has.

  6. I can definitely testify that dogs are a total chick magnet! In fact I met my new girlfriend that way (as Mary would say, we’re a Great Couple!) We’re long distance for now as she’s doing work-study in Tucson; I’m waiting to tell Saul so I can find the right moment to swipe his Rolex first.

  7. Sunday. "Chick Magnet?' Is Wilbur a 19-year-old frat boy now?

I hope that anyone selling or adopting out dogs in Santa Royale is hiding them all away.

Why would he think of getting an animal when the reason he's single is that he threatened to kill his ex-girlfriend's pet? None of this makes sense. He needs to work on his awful personality.

  8. Given Wilbur's penchant for sandwiches, he may be thinking of attracting young poultry. The dog won't help, except in the capture.

  9. So, in California it is now illegal for pet stores to sell live animals (except fish, I think). And adopting from shelters has become only slightly less burdensome than adopting a child. Don’t fear MWaM readers, there is little chance that Wilbur will be able to get a pet. Well, that’s not accounting for Mary and her witchy skills, of course.

Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
