I really am perflexed by Wilbur's brain sometimes. I am not going to parse these names too closely, but I get it. He's naming his fishes after his Ex. Sort of an Audrey 2 kind of scenario, from Little Shop of Horrors. Or perhaps maybe more like "A Fish Out of Water."
I’m perplexed by Wilbur’s gender-bending names for the unfortunate fish. Is he naming the female fish sort of after himself and the male sort of after Estelle but entirely after Stellan Skarsgard? Is that one a Swedish fish? Is this part of Wilbur’s fluster?
Wanders, I like your Little Shop of Horrors suggestion. I hope the fish continue to grow, and the next time Wilbur feeds them (if he remembers to feed them) they pull him into the tank and eat HIM.
Little did Wilbur know that Harrassed Pet Shop Lady, fed up with Wilbur creeping on her each time he came back for a new pickup accessory, had sold him a pair of starving piranha.
