It's been a while since I was a college student, but I don't recall any classes that were held on consecutive days, certainly not art classes. That would be uncommon.
It appears that Cal and Toby share the same unusual Frisbee-flinging style. Maybe this really is a match made in Worthiverse heaven. (Santa Royale Community college seems to be equivalent to a junior high school.)
I'd like to see Toby's website. I wonder if she simply displays her annimal figurines with their playful looks or if they're for sale.
I can't wait until the point in this story where Ian bursts in the hotel room during their first liaison, mowing them both down in a hail of righteous gunfire. Hmmmm ... now that I think about it, probably not. Dead wives are more of a Funky Winkerbean thing.
I'm not the athletic type and couldn't play frisbee to save my life, but that is not the way you throw a frisbee, or the way you catch a frisbee. There are reference photos all over the internet, June. Google image search is your friend.

i thought for sure the frisbee would hit toby in her unusual mouth.maybe tommrow we will see the frisbee hit cal in his keen eye.

Has it occurred to you critics that Toby and Cal may each be employing an uncommon approach to frisbee throwing?

ReplyDeleteWho was Cal throwing the Frisbee at when Toby arrived? Did he fling it, run to pick it up, toss it again, and then run after it etc.?
