"It would be inappropriate for me to come up to your bedroom... oh, wait a minute, I already have!"
Technically, of course, her bedroom is at her house a couple of blocks away. But her sister felt it would make wise financial sense to rent a house in town.
“This is Mountview Hospital. We are all too busy performing unnecessary surgery and padding bills with outrageous overcharges to speak with you now. Please leave a message and we will get back to you later, definitely before Gin O’Clock. Speak very slowly and distinctly (muffled laughter in the background). Thank you.”
“This. is. Mrs. Mary. Worth., the. unofficial. volunteer. supervisor. and. Supreme. Commander. of. the. Library. Book. Cart. I. am. a. very. close. associate. of. Drs. Jeff. and. Drew. Cory. I. have. observed. a. Mountview. Hospital. employee. behaving. very. inappropriately. with. a. patient. His. name., I. believe., is. Herod. Highlow. and. he. says. he. is. a. Physician’s. Assistant., but. I. know. trouble. when. I. see. it. and. furthermore., BUZZZZZ.
Thanks, @meg! I’ve been wondering when Mary would spill the Splak regarding her observation of inappropriate staff-patient interactions.
In today’s p. 1, the wall of the house seems to trying to blend in with the marks on Jess’s face. In p. 2, both face and wall have cleared up considerably. Maybe that’s the effect of Jared leaving. “Remember, House… you’re beautiful, and getting better.”
Very good, meg! It must have been a pain in the patoot to insert all those periods, but you nevertheless made the sacrifice in service of the bit. We appreciate the extra effort it took as well as your dedication to your craft! It's also very funny!
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.

Slow……Talkers……of…….America
ReplyDeleteBob and Ray were a long time comedy team originally from radio. I saw them on Broadway once (Bob and Ray, the Two and Only).
I was laughing so hard during the slow…..talkers….sketch, I thought I would have to leave or be asked to leave…the….theater.
