Don’t despair Wanders, there is still time for this event to become a Circus out of Iris’ worst nightmares. When Nan approaches the happy couple in her role as ring bearer, I’m envisioning an inebriated Wilbur will shriek “AUGH! A Doppelgänger!”, and run across the nave in a fit of epic fluster, knocking Rev Freeman into John Dill’s wedding cake (lovingly frosted with hamburger gravy icing).
I think we’re going to find out Zak is already married, else why would Rev Morgan say “LAWFUL WIFE” in BOLD CAPS? As Mammy Yokum would say, “Ah has spoken.”
My brother married an evil scammer at a rent-a-chapel in a resort area. I noticed when they were doing the vows that the rent-a-minister left out the opportunity for anyone to object, which is a really good business decision, to be honest.
