I felt sorry for MW 4164 so I decided to comment so it wouldn’t feel lonely, or cheated. For what it’s worth (pun intended), this is the version the Plain Dealer is running today, as is Comics Kingdom.
‘When I became single again” is a pretty vague use of the passive voice, Ed. Did he “become single” through spousal abandonment? Murdering his wife? Or getting dumped at a piano bar? Maybe he’ll tell us about it someday.
@Ian Cameron, PhD, I thought the same. Ed also seems eager to learn more about Estelle’s online dating problems. “I hope you do. I want to hear ALL the details!”
How these two can entertain the idea of visiting a piano bar after the fiasco of their last date involving pianos and singing, I don't know. Maybe JB had a few piano-resplendent panels left over from that strip... I'm waiting for Wilbur to enter the place and challenge Ed to a session of dueling pianos. And also, let's get this straight... Estelle took Ed out for dinner and paid for it to make up for the Wilbur encounter. So knock off the comments about how Estelle was only angling for a free dinner..
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.

ReplyDeletePURPLE bricks!?!?!?
Sorry for the Spoiler earlier this morning. That being said, I don't think it was that different.
ReplyDeleteI see ed is a glutton for punishment . This story is already horrible but i still gotta know how it ends.
