"What about you, Ed? Are you more considerate and reliable than Wilbur Weston?"

  1. What a great date discussion - let’s talk about the flaws of our exes. I hope Estelle asks Ed about his ex tomorrow.

Triple floating upper bodies! This might be a first.

  2. YES! Not only Triple Floating Upper Bodies, but with over-the-top Wailing Faces! Best panel since Zakie Baby!

Come on, Estelle. We don't speak of Wilbur in polite company.

  3. The Incident at Picadee Falls also shook Iris to her core, yet Zak’s cliffside jazz-hands hijinks somehow didn’t raise any reliability concerns for her. I guess when you’ve had Wilbur as an ex, it really shifts your perspective.

  4. Yes this is the mortal sin of First Date Etiquette-- going on about your hateful ex. Rookie mistake, Estelle. Did you forget to renew your subscription to Cosmo?

  5. Come on Stel! Spill your guts about 'loaning' $10,000 to Arther Zero, the man you 'loved.'
Then tell the Doc about your date with 'Mr. Hobo plate licker.' He'll be impressed.

  6. Either Ed has nothing much going on in life besides work, or he has worse stories to tell than Estelle does. HE's the one pumping her for info. about her ex. Time for Estelle to dig some details out of her date.

  7. Ed will reveal his ex wife died in a cruise ship accident years ago where the ship hit the rocks and fell on its side.

  8. “I thought he was dead — we all did! But those thoughts only turned out to be hopes — horribly dashed, mangled, broken hopes. Should we order another round?”

  9. Wow. Stell can really turn on the old water works, no?

  10. Perhaps Ed is asking to see how psychotic Estelle is before going much further.

  11. Floating Mary looks positively ecstatic at the thought of Wilbur's watery death. "Yes, yes," she thinks to herself. "My work with Wilbur is finished. I will now manipulate Estelle into dating that Crankshaft fellow. He seems rather unpleasant ... "

  12. This is a good site. You are all doing great. The only things that could be improved is the ability to respond to other commentators and perhaps to be able to vote up and down on the daily strip. None the less, keep up the good work!
