I'm remembering how hapless Estelle was over Arthu/er. I fear she may be the Unlucky in Love character in this strip who, due to her own poor judgment, perpetually fails in relationships, resulting in an ongoing need to get advice and baked goods from Mary Worth...
The suspense is killing me. Will Estelle wear the same blue top she's been wearing every day and night since her first date with Dr. Ed Harding last year?
Mary's purple cowl neck sweater; Estelle's blue top; Wilbur's magenta polo shirt. It must be that Charterstone has no laundry facilities or if they do, they charge $50 per load.
Don't be shy! I'd love to hear what you have to say about Mary Worth. Just keep it clean, that's all I ask. This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY blog. I don't want to moderate comments, but I will if I have to.
Aw, Mr. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHmm, by “hot date,” does Mommy mean more than inviting Ed back to her apartment to sing and play piano?
ReplyDeleteInstead of Wilbur stalking Estelle and Ed tonight, it’ll be Mary, with Jeff in tow.
ReplyDeleteHe should take her to the new Thai place on Elm. That's where all the action is.

I’m pretty sure Wilbur placed a spy cam and tracking device in Pierre’s collar before he gave him to Stell.

ReplyDeletePlease not another week of piano bar !!!!!

Wilbur and Dr. Ed. I'm trying but failing to come up with a talking horse joke.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous @ 3:40 pm.
ReplyDeleteWilbur is now bartending at the piano bar. Dr. / Mr. Ed steps up to the bar to order drinks. Wilbur asks: Hey, why the long face?
Yah, I know. It’s not perfect but it was the best revision of that classic that I could come up with.
Still in the honeymoon phase, eh?
ReplyDeleteHow many poor pets will have met their ends at Dr Ed's nephew's hands by the time he makes this date with Estelle?
