    I'm still confused about whether or not this IS the current storyline, or if it's just a lead-in for the NEXT story.

    Maybe Mary's late husband Jack isn't really dead. Mary is still hoping he will come back to her.

    What a plotline that would be- especially if he shows up just as Mary is putting on her wedding dress (think of Miss Havisham). They do this in soap operas all the time.

    Um, Wanders, I don't know if a nail gun was used. That veranda appears to be made out of a space-age plastic material that changes shape and size every few minutes. I'm thinking they used some kind of glue.

    Saturday night I hurt my back during the set strike of a play I was directing. I had to take off work today to recover. Laying in bed, I tried everything to get to sleep. Nothing worked. Not even Mens Fitness! Then I remembered Mary and Jeff at the VENUE. I was out cold in a second.

    What I'm hoping is... the party winds down and the guests all leave. Someone inside locks the doors leading out to the deck. (While Mary and Jeff are still out there, teehee.)

    There was a lecturn set up in that room. I wonder if Jeff was supposed to speak? It looks like the guests gave up and went home. Or maybe they were relieved that they could sneak out without hearing his speechifying.
