You know what they used to build that veranda? A nail gun. And for those of you who are new, or may have forgotten what monotony REALLY is, may I remind you of Terry Bryson.
For heaven's sake Moy, SLOW DOWN!!! I cannot keep up with the frenetic pace of this story. Could someone please summarize the last 1..2..3 weeks for me?
You know Wnders, as I read your comments under yesterday's posting, I thought for a second you were were referring to the President, Congressional leadership and the debt/budget problems.
Maybe Mary's late husband Jack isn't really dead. Mary is still hoping he will come back to her.
What a plotline that would be- especially if he shows up just as Mary is putting on her wedding dress (think of Miss Havisham). They do this in soap operas all the time.
Um, Wanders, I don't know if a nail gun was used. That veranda appears to be made out of a space-age plastic material that changes shape and size every few minutes. I'm thinking they used some kind of glue.
Saturday night I hurt my back during the set strike of a play I was directing. I had to take off work today to recover. Laying in bed, I tried everything to get to sleep. Nothing worked. Not even Mens Fitness! Then I remembered Mary and Jeff at the VENUE. I was out cold in a second.
What I'm hoping is... the party winds down and the guests all leave. Someone inside locks the doors leading out to the deck. (While Mary and Jeff are still out there, teehee.)
There was a lecturn set up in that room. I wonder if Jeff was supposed to speak? It looks like the guests gave up and went home. Or maybe they were relieved that they could sneak out without hearing his speechifying.

The Peace Village: crumbled to dust while you went on, ad nauseum. Sorry about that.
I've just seen Mary Worth trying to be coy and flirtatious. I think I need to go and lie down now.

Backstage, I figure it's going something like this:
BRRRRIIIING!
Giella: You got anything?
Moy: No, zippo.
Giella: Me neither.
Moy: Talk to you tomorrow.
Is it just me or is Mary's wrist the size of Dr Jeff's index finger?
ANYTHING written on this blog is more exciting and thought provoking than Moy's dialoge.
And that includes the "the's", "ands" and "buts"...
@jmernl: No, it's not just you. Dr. Jeff definitely needs surgery on that right flipper.

I'm still confused about whether or not this IS the current storyline, or if it's just a lead-in for the NEXT story.
My word verification was ''micaunta''- which looks like some sort of insult in a foreign language.
That's a bit of a cryptic comment from Mary - "We'll just have to wait and see, won't we?" What, precisely, are we waiting to see??
I was so bored with this story I almost forgot to comment today...
Man! a whole week of Mary might change her mind someday. LAME-O

@Chester - Hope your back feels better soon!
Chester, I hope you only broke a leg, and not your back. Rest is best for that kind of strain.
