So, Vinny "The Brain" DeSoto turns out to be just some nice guy from Modesto named Thomas. Nothing nefarious; no foul play; and most disappointing of all -- based on the way he's dressed -- there will be no big reward. Poor Mary. All that work caring for this guy's dog (favorite scarves destroyed, rump injuries), and the best she's going to get is a free meal at Applebee's where Thomas is a short order cook.

He might not be nefarious, but this guy's looks are disturbing. I have never seen anyone with that hair color. It looks like he dipped his head in baby poo.
If that's the case, I do hope he isn't a short order cook.
Let's not judge the way he dresses... We've seen the outfits that the Coreys have worn, and they have money.
He looks just like the kind of guy who'd call his dog 'Ralphie'. Anyway, Ralphie seems happy and I'm sure that's the main thing.
