I've always thought I had some sort of advantage over Mary Worth because I discovered a few years back that I can actually read thought balloons. But now I think she can read them too. Perhaps that's what makes her such an awesome meddler. I love Frank's fake grin and patronizing pat on the shoulder. "Have a good night, Mary, you big idiot."

I like to think that today's strip exemplifies the concept of "immovable object meets unstoppable force". Meanwhile Lynn is taking an overdose of ibuprofen in the other room as she mourns for her dead lost "friend". I did think that slow pace hit an all time high in the ID theft storyline, but I now realise we have taken 2 months to cover one day of practice. This is special indeed.
Not only can Mary read other people's thought balloons, she can actually smack back with her own. I sort of hope Frank heeds the warning in the second panel, but it would make this epic day a lot more exciting if he doesn't, because then we'll see what meddling justice Mary will administer with her mind.
Now, only tragedy will make Frank see the truth. This must make Mary ecstatic.
