Meanwhile, Mary has Jill trapped in a closet downstairs so she can work on her. She's brought in Uri Geller to help her psychically read Jill's mind so she can control it better. Unfortunately, so far all he's accomplished is to bend Jeff's spoon, which is amusing but not very helpful.
I'd just like to say that the phrase "wedding work" is amusing in its awkwardness.
Toots, well, at least he didn't say "man and wife".And actually the "weeks" thing is a pretty good sign that this already too-long, and too-boring story line will be over in months, and not years, like most stories in the Worthiverse seem to be.My word is "grant". May Moy/Giella "grant" us a reprieve from boring writing and drawing.
I wonder if there will be any cute guys for Jill at the single's table?
Yep, Jill is certainly the kind of girl I'd like someone to fix me up with.
It appears somebody bleached Mary's curtains. Aren't they supposed to be Santa Royale Pink? On closer inspection, the whole strip is a bit washed out today. Maybe the story will likewise fade away and disappears completely in about a week or so.....
Well, lol, I'm just wondering WHO that silver-haired gentleman is seated next to Mary!? And... why is Mary about to stick her finger down her throat? Is the food that bad, or is she bulemic? (Maybe that's why Jeff won't eat with her any more--too gross!) He's downstairs in that closet dining with Jill. Uh oh.
Jeff is so rude. he tool ALL the mashed potatoes for himself.
Well, I finally got to see the Sunday strip. My initial thought on Scott's response to Jill's comment about divorce statistics, is " yes, everyone thinks that their first time."
and, if Adrian thinks that the wedding is work, wait til she gets married! lol.
It sort of looks like Jeff had a a stroke. But nobody bothered to:a) treat him; orb) pay attention to that storyline.Because hey, stationery, etc., etc.
Today's strip, Mary left out Jill's comment about Scott and Adrian ending up in Divorce court. I would say that is pretty negative as well.
But apparently Adrian hasn't noticed the negativity.Wouldn't you just love to have such a perceptive woman as your doctor?
