Also, here's to you and your big decision. Awesome sideburns.
Today's Full Strip
This sounds like the end, however I fear now it's two weeks of goodbye, hugging, and more self congratulating! Do the bruises, from the pats on Mary's back, ever go away? Maybe Mary will get back just in time to give Toby advice on her Thanksgiving turkey.
Picture Shannon staying at Pax, the place she loves, for the next 47 years. How beautiful is that?! On the flight back to Santa Royale, maybe Mary will see Shannon's floating head in the clouds. Another successful meddle!
What is this, Harvard? A place of learning? The only thing you should learn at a spa is that green tea is good for you and Debby Boone is not a user of the neck lift product she endorses.
but...Aggie's problem is unresolved.
This can't be the end! Whatever happened to the widow June, and did Aggie ever contemplate her past actions to find out why her friendship ended? And what about Stressed Mom, and Bored Government Worker Guy? Whatever became of them? We need to know these things, darn it!
I really want to see a floating Aggie head in the clouds.
Let us hope that this adventure in "learning" is now over and that Shannon, Aggie, Pax Wellness etal are eliminated from our collective consciousness forever.
I smell a spin-off strip. Kind of like the Love Boat. New characters every week (spa time, not our time) with Shannon solving problems right and left, getting in trouble with the grouchy resort manager. That sort of thing.
Now that sharing circles/open talk sessions have been reinstated by The Administrators (with feedback warnings and waiver forms to sign) I would like to see Mary attend another one. That will give us another 3 or 4 wonderful weeks at Pax for sure.
I'm looking to next week when Mary and Shannon discuss Aggie over dinner. This is still lunch, isn't it?
Let's recap; what have we learned?1. Sharing circles can lead to feedback.2. You need to drink lots of water in the desert.3. Yoga is best done on a mattress.4. The beauty of nature heals all wounds.5. Seagulls are everywhere, even in the desert. What did I miss?
Carlye@1:18pmYou missed a plot.
I was talking to a fellow Mary Worth reader recently. She remarked that the strip is so uninteresting that it's fascinating.
well gosh, who WOULDN'T love a job where you can pound down alcoholic drinks all day and get paid for it?
I'm pleased to see that Mary has earned her wings.
