Floating Head Jeff has been really working out!
Looks like somebody got a new phone for Christmas. If you are looking for a new phone, with no contract, and lots of affordable package options, here's a little link to a new company we just signed up with for my son: Republic Wireless. Use the link and get a $19 credit. We're getting our family off of our Big Carrier contract and we've really been happy with this service. Okay. End of commercial. Back to Mary, the texting addict.

DOSC really is sold on those lavender outfits, isn't she? She's even got Mary wearing one.
I'm also in awe of her trick elbow. Either that, or an off-screen production assistant (also in lilac) is holding her saucer for her...).
It must be difficult for Mary to remember what Jeff looks like in her mind's eye. Of course, he usually looks different from panel to panel anyway.
I hope Jeff texted Mary to tell her he met the love of his life in Vietnam, and that they tied the knot and are flying to Santa Royale for a champagne wedding reception.
Has anyone else noticed that Mary gets most enthusiastic about Jeff when:
1.) she's away from him
2.) she's getting involved with another man
3.) he's in Vietnam.
What a twisted relationship!
But does your new phone show a floating head every time you receive a text, Wanders? Because now that I know that's a possibility, that's the only kind of phone I want from now on.
At first when I saw the "BUZZ BUZZ" I assumed Mary was using her electric razor. Thank you for clarifying, Wanders.
And, Gina, me too!
Mark Zuckerburg stole the floating head idea for Facebook Home on mobile devices.
And we all though Moy/Giella were behind the times!

Just when you thought you wanted an all-day sucker...
@KitKat--that's exactly what I was thinking! Oh wouldn't it be great to see Mary's reaction?? But, of course... that can't happen because that would be an interesting development and we all know the concept of 'interesting' and Mary Worth go together like a dill pickle with chocolate cake.
Little does Mary know that she is actually trying to answer her checkbook.
I still hope Jeff will tell Mary he's coming to see her in New York.
KitKat, from your lips to God's ears.
Looking forward to the death match when the floating head of Jeff attacks the floating head of Ken2.
It's a Floating Head Extravaganza. Who was the last one? Doesn't matter.
Mary's hunched-over stance with her phone reminds me of Gollum and the ring. "Excuse me, Shelly. It's The Precioussssss."
And finally, Mary and DOSC are very 2014 with their ensembles--they are wearing Pantone's Color of the Year for 2014.
