After Adam's tremendous show of masculinity, their feelings are so intense and shameful that they're too embarrassed to call each other by their first names.
The cane has disappeared, run off like the dish ran that away with the spoon.
The plush doggie is the most appealing Mary Worth character in years. I vote he gets his own storyline.
Dr. Jeff needs to spend some time with Adam and get some pointers. I want to see this whole sequence repeated with Jeff and Mary - flying in hot air balloons, roller coasters, and then winning Mary's heart won over with a stuffed animal.
Super, Adam is a lame superhero name even though I like the addition of punctuation and the Pause For Effect.
Adam's cane comes and goes, doesn't it? It reminds me of Guy Caballero's wheelchair on SCTV. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raUWv4HFjHk
Wow! How did he do it? He knocked down every cone!
It's almost impossible to knock over a solid cone because of lack of a straight edge and low center of gravity. For a object to tip, it's center of gravity must be past its outer edge. Unless the tipping force is precisely perpendicular to the rounded edge, the changing center of gravity will only rotate the cone on its edge - not tip over. The center of gravity of a solid cone is almost at the bottom. You have a little better chance tipping a pyramid - but not much.
Adam is selectively listening to Terry...She never said he made her happy. She said, "you've still got it!", which sounds a lot like a colleague exclaiming support for a job well done (note her fist pump as the cones spill over the counter), not exactly the words of one in love.. Adam is heading for heartbreak.I think HE will soon be the one moping on Mary's divan, slurping her de-caf coffee, and nodding at her sage advice.
Uncle Joe got a little carried away with the cone thing. Terry's nose is now a cone in Panel 2.
