"No! STOP, Adam! Let's let Wanders and his dear readers complete your sentence for you."
Okay, here's mine: "Terry, will you massage my corn?"
Have fun, everyone!
Terry, will you move over to the bench so that we can sit and chat a while?
"...make me a sammich?"I also love how Uncle Joe's illustration of the SR ferry looks more like a WWII liberty ship!
Will you move your fingertips out of my nostrils?
Will you make sure that's not seagull poop on my temple?
Terry, will you moan if I throw up on you? Because this decrepit old boat is making me sick as a dog (and making the gray at my temples spread fast!).
...manage my disability claim?
Kitkat: I can tell you from experience that salt air does a number on Greecian Formula.
*using mind control* Terry will you meld your fingertips to my mouth, the first step in my gradual absorbing of your entire being, physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Terry, will you make sure this cane doesn't make my butt look big?
Terry, will you make the next romantic gesture, please? I'm running out of ideas, not to mention money.
Terry, will you make a distress signal with your hands to that boat we can't yet see on the horizon , using the excellent training we both received and that I am sure you are nostalgically wanting to use, thereby reconnecting you and me, This ferry has just hit rock, is listing sharply to port, and is about to sink.
Well, of course, he is about to ask, "Terry, will you marry me?" I called it yesterday! I said that he would pop the question and that she would say "NO!" I just didn't think it would all happen SO FAST! Please slow down, "Mary Worth" strip, you're making my head spin!
Will you meet me in the middle, will you meet me in the air? Will you love me just a little, just enough to show you care?
Terry, will you meet Bill Cosby for a drink at the Santa Royale Hilton?
Terry, will you manage Congressman Mcdugal's presidential campaign?
He was actually going to say "Terry, will you go wing suit flying with me?" but she stuck her hand over his mouth and it turned into a hum.
Terry, will you move in with me? Maybe you could even bring your furniture, too, since I've spent all of my disability settlement buying you that hot air balloon. Honestly, I was counting on that to do all of my wooing for me; what more do you want, this boat? Now you're just being unreasonable.
Terry, will you moon the people on that island when we get closer?
Saturday Adam is too dense to notice Terry's emphatic PEACE. Not only that, "someone, someday" is as vague as can be. Adam is a dolt. How old are Terry and Adam? I'm pegging them for mid-40s at least, and Adam may be knocking on the door of 50. Hey you two, time is marching on!
Chewing loudly, and offering Terry a piece of gum, "Terry, will you masticate with me?"
Terry, will you mime being trapped in a box and climbing a ladder and possibly perform other classic mime routines as time allows during this ferry ride?
Well. I have been away from Santa Royale for far too long. I have scrolled back a bit and have the gist of the Terry/Adam stalkerline I mean storyline, and the use of the phrase "That's what HE said!" several weeks ago has drawn me back in.I still miss Chester. I hope he is well.
SUNDAYTalk about sending mixed messages! In the final panel, is Terry trying to give Adam a hug, or is she trying to push him overboard?I can't wait for more of this! It's so exciting!
Sunday@Dawn Weston's Evil Twin, I think Terry doesn't know herself! Mr. KitKat opined that Terry is channeling Mary Worth herself, I.e., Mary's so-called relationship with Dr. Jeff, which is totally on Mary's terms.I predict tomorrow we'll see Mary and Toby gossiping about the "interactions of Ms. Bryson and her old friend."
Todays quote ("A rejection is ... a necessary step in the pursuit of success") may apply to a career, but not a relationship. Relationships are developed. Quarry is pursued. The mixed messages being sent by Terry are extremely alarming. Adam's threat "It's a good thing we're friends! Otherwise I'd be pretty upset!" should not be overlooked. This plot line is wrong on so many levels.
