Today's strip dialogue is laden with so much innuendo that I feel that Wander's Words of Wisdom, "Just keep it clean, that's all I ask." should be applied to Mary herself! Mary, just to let you know, you're on watch by me as of this moment. Tread lightly there, Mar, we've got our eyes and ears on you, young lady.
Looks like Mary and Olive did have to leave Manhattan in search of Kelk and Splak. That Whole Foods building must br in Connecticut or maybe New Jersey.
Well, it seems that Mary Worth is more Mary Poppins than Auntie Mame, given today's dialogue. I bet she will try to spirit Olive away to Santa Royale by the time this plotline ends, and I bet Ed and Evy Taylor might let her do it.

I hadn't realized avocados were traditional at Christmas. I am sure, however, that it will go perfectly with the PAW Mary already has in the cart.

Avocados are probably the basic ingredient in Mary's dreaded vegetable terrine. Unless, of course, the turkey is going to have guacamole stuffing.
I think Mary's traditional dishes have evolved to include some Santa Royale specialties. Tamales, anyone?
I bought an avocado this morning and deliberately did not press the end, just for spite. That that, you insufferable know-it-all!
Maybe Mary's going with a traditional green and red color scheme, hence avocados stuffed with maraschino cherries.
