Actually, this story began March 21 of this year. Only in Mary Worth would a story still be standing still at the starting gate nearly four weeks later.
"I'm happy as I am" !? What the heck does that mean? Oh wait, it's Moy Speak, so it has no meaning.
Didn't this so-called plot begin with Dawn soliciting Mary's advice because she was unsatisfied with her life? Now she's "happy where I am in life now, too." She's either lying, afflicted with a terrible memory, or an airhead of epic proportions. How about al of the above?
I'm still astonished that KM thinks that a student going to a professor's home alone is a valid plot point. Oh vey.
Dawn is really laying it on thick with her not dating, improving her mind crap. She had just gotten done telling Mary how lonely she is. Is Professor Harlan Jones nothing more than a sleazy predator in a porn 'stache? He's like Aldo Kelrast in a lot of ways, including the mustache and feeling guilty over his dead wife. Maybe Dawn will need an intervention to get her away from Professor Harlan Jones, he'll turn to the bottle and drive off a cliff. Will Heloise from the Phantom show up again in Mary Worth or was that just a chance encounter?

Happy is as happy does. Life is like a bowl of M & M's. I played soccer at Ole Miss. Harlan is a poor man's Forrest Gump.
At least we've gone a few days without the word "inspired". Dawn and Harlan are about as inspiring as celery-flavored Jell-o.
I knew it! I always knew that Dawn would join a cult! Somehow, though, I thought the cult would have more than two members.
