Any offer of a job where the applicant takes this long to make a decision would be rescinded by now.
After all, in the time Mary has been working on this writer's dilemma, Iris and Zak have been to a concert, bowling, dancing, dining, considering tattoos, and enjoying a moment.
Mary's still working on that same letter from two weeks ago? Wilbur's going to come home and find that due to Mary's slowness, they dropped his column in favor of Jumble.
I laughed out loud at your cons. I was hoping as I was reading Charles Manson would be one of the "cons".
Wanders, that's hilarious! You made my commute through the snow well worth it - thank you!
Mary hasn't left her apartment in six weeks. She's become a bit player in her own strip.
I hope the homicidal squirrel who nearly brained Mary with a tree limb a few years ago (thwarted by Olive's tummy brain, darn) zeroes in on Zak and Iris. Sharing this moment could be the last thing they do.
Not sure what's making me laugh more, Wanders' commentary or the fact that "Ask Wendy" has an ongoing correspondence with a reader (and one as dim and slow as this plot)!
@Regina NY Diva--hilarious comment re: dropping Ask Wendy for Jumble. Tee hee.
I suspect this "sharing a moment" stuff is the calm before the storm.. Once Wilbur finds out about Iris and Zak, (courtesy of Drama Queen Dawn), I anticipate a cold wind blowing up from Antarctica to throw a chill on the lovebirds' zenlike moment..
Wanders, you wrote "Well, that didn't help at all." I say, 'au contraire mon frere', you brought much joy into a frigid Midwest morning with your list. It made my day and I'm going out right now to have it tattooed on my arm.

As to today's Mary Worth, I got nothin'. It's boring beyond all belief. But Wanders! You gave me the first big grin of the week. I love you, sir!

I don't usually use this expression but LOL.
Bless you for including the Cheeto in Chief in your list.
Thanks, Wanders! You made me laugh out loud on a morning that was otherwise pretty depressing!
