I second your remarks, Wanders. Iris didn’t want to “burden” Zak, but him babying her now is okay? If there was a Worthy Awards category for “Character You Most Want to Disappear,” I’d vote for Iris. She drives me nuts.
Looks like Iris is deflating already, and she hasn't even gotten her meds yet!
Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard. Since when did Zak drive a subcompact? He seems more like the SUV owner type.
I wonder if she's going to apologize for just running off on him without saying why? That's was rather rude.

@Garnet at 12:22 p.m., I wonder the same thing. Maybe Zak needs a mommy nearby. It’s certainly not excitement because Iris has been as dull as dishwater, even before her recent health issues.
I hope Iris doesn't lose her new-found nose as her condition improves with medication.
Garnet's comment makes me wonder what Zak would see in Iris if Uncle Joe was still drawing this strip. If you look back through Wanders' archives, Iris wasn't exactly... ummm... attractive. But, then again, how would Uncle Joe have drawn Zak?
