"So do I! Sadly, it's a Star Wars Parody Film, so it won't ever be in theaters. Not after Space Balls."

What is this Guerres des etoiles, Star Wars, of which you speak? Is it like Jerry Lewis vs Gerard Depardieu, which is much funnier?

And the screens of our telephones are much bigger in Paris, too.

Family Guy has done a parody of Star Wars and pretty much anything else you can think of, but I'd really like to see what happens when the Griffin family moves to Charterstone.

Okay, Dawn and Jared will be catching the parody at Santa Royale's Generic Arts Theatre. This is the first innocent step in what will likely result in these two dating.

Hugo is going to be so devastated.

“Ha ha! That hilarious!” exclaims Dawn after watching 2.73 seconds of the video. She’s easily pleased.

So which of them will ask Dawn out, Jared or His Nerdy Self? Whichever, I predict Dawn will enjoy herself and then will be wracked with guilt for weeks because she “cheated” on Hugo (who’s likely enjoying many extracurricular activities, ooh la la).

"It's so good to see you again....That movie you like, I want to see it, too....That Dr Fletcher was an immoral fraud, with his cheating..."

Dawn has inherited Wilbur's lack of self-awareness. And his observance of the 500 mile rule.

SUNDAY
Dawn eating her pizza while Jared’s beverage sits on the table sets a very low bar for “dinner.”

@meg, you were brilliant to notice the Sterling Holloway resemblance!

HA!

As is the wont of MW illustrators, Jared’s looks are changing panel by panel. By the end of the week, he’ll be incredibly handsome and hunky.
If you see today’s Parade magazine, you’ll see what Jared will look like in 50 years.

Meanwhile in Beautiful Paris, at the very moment Dawn and Jared make their date, Hugo is suddenly awakened by an inexplicable twinge of psychic happiness. He smiles contentedly and holds Fifi a little tighter.

@meg, HA HA!

Instead of painting a house, maybe JB will show us Jared in shorts and a wife beater, painting his Star Wars figurines’ shelf.

I did see today’s Parade and the cover guy. I think Jared will look more like the CGI dog in the movie. (BTW, it takes me about 27.5 seconds to flip through that magazine. Pretty soon it will consist of four pages.)

@Scottie McW, I pictured a similar scenario, with Hugo struggling to remember Dawn’s name. “Is eet Fawn?”
