Mary Worth 3332

So many questions that I'm sure will be left unanswered: Will they share a hotel room to cut down on the expense of this trip? Is Hugo extending his trip to spend a few days with Dawn, or will he be working all day and only have time for her in the evening? Will they pick up where they left off, or will Dawn's very real feelings for her other boyfriend cast an uncomfortable pall over their time together?

One question has been answered clearly, however: Is Dawn an idiot?

Today's Boldface Haiku is titled

"Apparently Talking About It Will Be Better Than Actually Doing It".

Do! Spring break!
Miss...exciting!
Fun!

Cue James Brown: "This is a mauve world. This is a mauve world. But it wouldn't be nothing without a few boringly complimentary shades of blue." Seriously, does June specify the colors, or is it done by a separate colorist who suffers from depression?

The cost of the flight should be no problem for Dawn, as Wilbur has surely built up lots of flyer miles from his disaster junkets.

Wanders, I have another question: Will he be bringing Babette with him?

MW is the only place where someone can go to a city that has been under lockdown for weeks.

Hasn't Dawn been on Spring break for months now? We haven't seen her doing anything that remotely resembles schoolwork since she went to "beautiful Italy."

Great BFH title Nance!

Don't know if I can bear to see the bustling streets of NY that JB is sure to treat us to as soon as Dawn gets off the plane, her trip complete with floating heads of Jared and Hugo bobbing along as she looks out the window en route. Plus, I want to hear her explain to Jared, whom she has "fallen for" why she is going off to NY to see Hugo. Jared will be sobbing over his Star Wars action figures for the next week. Darth Vader's cape will be soaked.

Maybe while Dawn is in NYC, she can consult with Olive about tuning into her Tummy Brain. It will show her The Way Forward in this Love Triangle.

So what happens on Saturday evening when Jared comes around expecting a little smooching and hugging from the girl who's fallen for him?

I picture him alone later on Saturday night at a bar moaning that he doesn't understand women at all.

Yes, another zinger of a BFH title, Nance! Also, I give a shout-out to Chester the Dog for reminding us of Pork Chops and Acrobats yesterday. Aah, those were the days!

Looks like Mary coordinated the decor for Dawn’s bedroom.

I wonder if Dawn will encounter the “Lost everything but my faith” guy on the streets of NYC, and if Hugo will buy her a Madeleine concocted by John Dill at Chef Pierre’s bakery.

Ah, NYC during an outbreak. How romantic.

@Regina Wolfe-Parks: I'm embarrassed to admit this, but wasn't Dawn going to do 'homework' when she went for pizza and reconnected with Jared? Admittedly, it never looked like she did any.

I suppose any disembodied floating head is welcome, this being Mary Worth and everything — but I was secretly hoping for a Giant Head of Disapproval from Mary instead of Hugo on Zoom.
