Mary Worth 3351

Maybe tomorrow she can choke on her words and take a sip of water, and perhaps on Wednesday, she can excuse herself to use the rest room. I'm sure there are plenty of ways to stretch this out through the quarantine.

KM and/or JB forgot to include “?” in both English and French.

Hugo and Dawn finished the bottle of wine and are now working on a bottle of watermelon Kool-Aid.

Is that Wilbur and Estelle walking by the restaurant in the first panel?

I am waiting for the twist. I cannot see Dawn as the person doing the dumping, she is so much the person who is dumped.

So, she led him all around Manhattan sightseeing when he's supposed to be there on business, is (presumably) letting him pick up the check for dinner and she's just gonna drop this on him? Dawn is brutal!

Scottie McW., you have captured the essence of Dawn - huzzah!

No week that starts out with a boldface "UM" bodes well.

Dawn will follow the Way of the Weston: Chug the bottle of Cold Duck & head back to Santa Royale on a Greyhound.

Ma cherie... my dear... is the light in your eyes? The lights in tacky Paris diners are much better.

Yesterday's panels reminded me of Green Eggs and Ham

Would you like Hugo way up high?
Would you like Hugo looking at the sky?
I do not like Hugo way up high.
I do not like Hugo looking at the sky.

Would you like Hugo in a park?
Would you like Hugo after dark?
I do not like Hugo in a park.
I do not like Hugo after dark.

Would you like Hugo on a boat?
Would you like Hugo with escargo(t)?
Not on a boat. Not with escargot.
Not in a park. Not after dark.
Not way up high. Not looking at the sky.

I do not like Hugo here or there.
I do not like Hugo anywhere!

Does Hugo use the Oxford comma?
Would you take him with you to visit Momma?
Can he spout forth some witty snark
About his stroll in Central Park?

“Central Park? Bois de Boulogne!
Ma Maman will not like her tone!
Oxford not as good as Sorbonne comma.
Too much big American drama!

(.with humblest apologies to r u ok? and to Monsieur Seuss.)
