Mary Worth 3366

I'm hoping this is just a Jukebox request, and not the beginning of a new Wilbur story. I'd rather not add Reunited to the jukebox, but if it will make Wilbur go away, I am willing to persuade the Condo Board.

Speaking of great piano music, my friend Rusty Hancock has been sending out these weekly musical hugs during his quarantine (this is the ninth). You can visit his Facebook page to see others. He sent this one out last Sunday.

This week: why not some Caribbean flair? How about Malaguena? I'm dedicating it to my mother, who is also my (only)...

When I saw p. 2 today I joined in the chorus of angst and despair that was echoing throughout the Worthiverse. If KM is so bereft of ideas that she’s about to foist another Wilbur-Estelle plot on us, she may as well change the strip title to Weston World. Aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh!!!!

What I wouldn’t give for a return of Ted Miller (what a character!) and his muffin chapeau.

OH NO NOT WILBUR AND ESTELLE AGAIN! DID EVERYONE ELSE MOVE OUT OF CHARTERSTONE TO GET AWAY FROM MARY????

Thanks for the music this morning! What light expressive playing- and his mom was his only piano teacher. Amazing. My grandmother was a piano teacher, she attended the American Conservatory of Music when she was just 16. She could play anything. I have a lot of her sheet music and I look at it and think, there aren't enough fingers on my hands to play that.

Good Lord, Karen Moy, aren't things bad enough already without you spreading the Mopey-Dopey and Tubby-Gullible double-whammy on your poor unsuspecting readers? I need a mask for my eyes.

How I long to learn how Iris' thyroid is coming along.

Hmmmm... I'm worried. Y'know how Snuffy Smith pushed out Barney Google or Les pushed out Funky Winkerbean? I hope Wilbur doesn't push out Mary.

Maybe KM is giving us a break from Mary's muffins and summarizing walk with Toby and instead is giving us a summary through song?

Not those idiots again, Libby excluded. Her "meow" speaks volumes!

Does Karen Moy tell June what colors to use? I am sooooo sick of purples, blues and browns. Geez, the Jeopardy set is more colorful than this. And speaking of thyroids, is Estelle suffering from some glandular condition that has made her head look bigger than Pudge Weston's, even though she's in the background? I say the syndicate should fire both Moy and Brigman. I'm thinking they should go for full-on crazy and have James Allen take over the strip.

Rusty's ninth musical hug? Or his ninth quarantine?

@Yahoonski. No! No! James doesn't even seem to be drawing the strip any more. He's using some weird canned art on a computer or drawing pad and the current story line is several degrees below the MW one. I'm not kidding. Many readers have voiced concern for Mr. Allen's health.

I do love euphemisms, but "catch up" implies dinner at the BumBoat beneath a singing fish, possibly with catsup... What Dawn and Jared are doing is not "catch up" unless there were a specified number of kisses they missed while apart, and they are counting out the smooches now. And get the heck out of that car, which you know probably smells like the bag of aging french fries (hee, hee) in the back seat. Scottie, I love the sound of "Mopey-Dopey Tubby Gullible Double Whammy" So musical...
