@Scottie McW. from yesterday, yes, I meant “whole heartedly.” Thanks! BTW, if I was handed a piece of Toby’s banana bread with Gram’s secret ingredient, I would nibble a few crumbs half-heartedly at best.
Amazing how she is all chipper and dandy now. At least she's in a good frame of mind for finding out her dad is never returning from that drug cartel mission to Venezuela.
KitKat: I had assumed you meant "heartily," the way Madi is heartily pitching into that hearty meal of pork chops and mashed potatoes.
Encouraged by your response yesterday, I cross-posted my comment to Comics Curmudgeon, where I got more positive reactions than I have ever gotten to one of my comments on that site. My fellow Worthians are a warm and encouraging group; the Mudgeons can be a bit intimidating. Thanks!
TUESDAY “...her kindness, her nurturing essence, her zest for life. Of course I’m describing myself, Madi, but I am somewhat certain that your Gram was within reach of some of those outstanding qualities.”
WEDNESDAY Top secret, so don’t tell anyone: Wanders has been absent since Sunday because he’s on his way to Venezuela to accompany Lyle back to Santa Royale after the completion of his secret mission.
Today: Why are Mary and Madi toweling off their dry hair? All they did in the pool was float in inner tubes.
Good job, KitKat! I do admire JB's illustration of the towel dry-off. Wonderful illustrating! And a weird nod to Madi and Mary's twin behavior... Hard to imagine such synchronized behavior in real life. If they can dry their hair together, maybe they can pull off a synchronized swimming routeine!

It’s time to ship Madi off to NYC to join John Dill as an apprentice to Chef Pierre. Au revoir, Madi!

They seem to have settled on a single topic of conversation, and they're sticking with it.
Waiting for Madi to ask Mary if she can move in with her.
"It'll be just like having Gram back. Oh pleeeeeeeease please please please!"
"Uh . . . um . . . well . . . um . . ."

I'm disappointed. If I was June, I'd have drawn Mary wearing a purple swim suit with a cowl neck.

Mary and Saul have no respect for a young woman’s personal space. BACK OFF.

So Toby spent the entire summer making a loaf of banana bread?
@Anonymous at 1:50 p.m., Toby’s motto is “We will sell no banana bread or take it to a condo board meeting before its time.”
