Wilbur, your perpetual misery is going to have to wait. We've already had a preview that the next story is a Tommy/Brandy story. Cliffhangers will be abundant.

Mary is happy and I’m happy for her. She has a good man who really loves her. Jeff, on the other hand…
Will Iris’s vow count since she addressed it to “Zak” instead of “Zachary”? Also, what does dedicating herself to his smile mean? Will she be cooking white rice and hamburger gravy weekly?
Mary has dedicated herself to keeping Jeff in his place. This week his place appears to be somewhere other than at her side.
I agree about the secret message, but if Dawn is feeling jealous of what Tommie might inherit from this union as opposed to what Wilbur will leave her, it might be termed an heir-sickness bag.

Where's Estelle? We really need her here to whip up some desperately needed drama.
Hilarious secret message, Wanders! I nominate it for Secret Message of the Year.

I guess Jeff couldn't find anything purple to wear. Mary told him to wait for her in the car.

No, Jeff is there. He’s dressed in full Mary Worth drag, cowl neck and all. We’ll see him when he and his doppelgänger go thru the receiving line.
“I will you to be happy, Iris — it’s me doing it, see? It’s still all about me”
