Lynn has been listening to the music, but what music was she listening to?! Last week I added the theme from Ice Castles to the Charterstone Jukebox in honor of Lynn, but when we find out what she "free skates" to, I'll add that song for sure! Anyone want to make a guess? Judging by the pile of damp tissues on the floor, perhaps it is from "Ice Castles" after all.
I also want to commend Joe Giella. He's worked very hard to make sure the furniture and floor plan remain as stationary as possible in the Worthiverse today, although we all know perfection is impossible. Perhaps it has to do with Mary being in placid Lake Tranquil rather than Santa Royale, California. Although, if you look at the full strip, you'll see that Frank's house no longer has a porch.

Why the apologetic quotes, Wanders? Free skate and long program are synonymous. Long skate and free program, however, would be a problem...
Noooo, the icy hand of meddling! You are doomed, Lynn! You are doomed.
what is she listening to the music ON?
I vote for "The Lost Chord" or some spritely ditty by E. Power Biggs. (It would be a long program!)
"Enter Sandman."
KNOCK! KNOCK!
Oh Giella/Moy, back in the Vera days you know that things like "SLAP!" were not things that people said as much as ways of describing what was just heard.
"You're not disturbing me, Mary." Saying those words just makes her try harder.
Oh, and it turns out that the show will feature a special trick where Lynn slices an onion - thus the tissues.
Lynn's made a huge mistake, like the family does in "The Lost Boys." She willingly invited evil into her room!
Looks like those Louisiana goof balls are at it again. Proof: (1) The driveway, dresser, night stand, & headboard are the same color grey; (2) The bed skirt in panel 3 looks like a universal product code (bar code) with the alternating black and pink, but disappears in panel 7; (3) Bed is changing size. Large in panel 3, small in 4, but large again in 7;
(4) pillow with flower seems to move around; (5) drapes, bed cover and book covers in bookcase are same icky pepto bismal pink; (6) book on grey dresser has cover and page edges same color as floor and half of Mary's face from Nov 9. What's up with that?
Woa, is that Franks house? No, he still lives in a porch eqipped shanty on the edge of Lake Tranquil with limited silverware, while his teen aged daughter just moved into a two story four bedroom cape cod with attached garage. Two car garage and a breezeway? What development is that house in? Did she pay with cash? I guess her endorsing the HOME DEPOT on TV really paid out.
Why does she have white socks strewn about her bedroom? Where is her maid?
Meddle on, Mary, you got your hands full!
Today's colorist (sixth grader Martin Gregory of Omaha Falls, Indiana) sure seems to want to do some heavy optic nerve damage to the rest of us.
