While I am, admittedly, 40 years younger than Joe Giella, and fashions do change, when I picture a "fishing vest" it isn't a sweater vest. On the other hand, Wilbur's outfit has remained unusually consistent through this unbearably long sittin' on the dock and bondin' segment.

Okay, Wilbur: Abby had a relationship with Rival when you were in college, and then she moved on every time she got tired of another guy. What does 2 + 2 equal?

This is the weirdest, most awkward supposed ''father and son'' dialogue I've ever seen. Kurt's ''restlessness'' is starting to sound really creepy. At first, I thought maybe he was looking for a kidney, some bone marrow, or maybe some quick cash- now I'm starting to think that maybe he killed his real parents, (Maybe by bashing their brains out with his guitar?) and he's hiding out at Wilbur's.

This story is just moving too fast for me. There are so many plot developments happening that I can't keep track! Can somebody help explain this breakneck madness?!

Someone wake me when the fishing trip is over.

Either that, or kill me now.

...And Wilbur reaches up to give a tip o' the ol' hat to Abby for being "creative". No starving artist was she, no siree!

I miss the days of Mary's meddling and the occasional use of the term bumboat.

Mary Worth hasn't given me one laugh in days. I feel cheated!

Hey, is this comic strip called "Mary Worth" or "Wilbur". WHERE'S MARY????? Time to get off that dock and get back to town where Mary can give you some wise advice, Wilbur!!!

Moy and Giella are just messing with us, I'm sure of it.

They've been fishing since January 11th - are they working on a new world record?

Did someone mention the Bum Boat? Now I miss the Bum Boat and everything having to do with the Bum Boat. Mary and Jeff, Mary's red drink, Jeff's orange suit, rotating tables, rotating wall art, FISH...

No fish were harmed in the production of this fishing "scene" (seriously, this the "The English Patient" of fishing scenes, it's more boring than actual fishing...I wish the Parker Brothers from Mark trail would swing by in their boat and yell stuff at Kurt and Wilbur just to spice things up...also, why didn't Wilbur bring some sandwiches? I mean really)

Please let Mary be hiding under the dock with a steno pad, please let Mary be hiding under the dock with a steno pad ...

they didn't bring any sandwiches because they ate 'em all sittin on the sofa.
