Oh, who is this mysterious blond interloper, trying to usurp Mary Worth's role as chief meddler in Bonnie Johnson's life? Don't even try, lady. Mary Worth has already got this situation well under control.
Meanwhile, absolutely nothing has changed over at the Johnson's sliding glass door. Absolutely nothing. Joe Giella must be extremely proud of this drawing to use it three days in a row. Perhaps he's hoping it will receive a Worthy Award.

Day 3 of Bonnie?Bonnie and Ernie Johnson in a pitched argument whilst playing "Statues" in their condo. They clearly need an intervention! Or a chiropractor! Or a reset button for that malfunctioning second panel!
What's that strange yellow thing on the edge of Mary's table, next to her bed? Jumbled books? A strange art form? Oh, and the bed is the same "Giella Deluxe" - squared off corners and the same bedspread as all his others.
What the ???? This is too weird! Seriously, I'm trying to figure out--is that Mary or Toby? the FACE looks like Mary's, but she's combing long blond hair!? I thought maybe Mary had a towel on her head, but then I look closer and see she's holding a brush.
Ok,I've figured it out! Mary is donning a disguise so that Bonnie? will think she's someone else. (Much to her dismay, Mary realizes Bonnie? is NOT going to spill her guts to her!) So it's on to "Plan B"... pretend to be a blond stranger who just so happens to bump into Bonnie? at that lovely mall.
We have often seen the back of Mary's head and there has never been evidence of long hair. Mary must have added extensions and dyed her hair blonde. Or, more likely, as I've said before, Giella is showing his displeasure with Moy not giving him anything interesting to draw by messing up the art.
Gilella is as bored as we are.
Ernie Johnson must be in really good shape to do jumping jacks while nagging his wife about her compulsive shopping (for three days straight). Unfortunately, I think the B&EJ house is going to be foreclosed on if MW doesn't intervene soon.
Mary's looking fetching in the privacy of her own bedroom, putting on a long blonde wig and silk loungewear. Why doesn't Jeff ever see this side of her?
I think Ernie is mad that Bonnie? refuses to learn the Mexican Hat Dance.
Strange. We seem to have stumbled into some kind of a time warp. While Bonnie?Bonnie and Ernie are stuck in the same awkward moment for days on end, Mary has suddenly become 120 years younger.
It's Toby, aging rapidly from the angst. Ole! (I wish I knew how to type an accent over the e.)
I am SO relieved that I was not the only one who could not figure out who the blonde was. First glance, I thought Mary, because that HAS to be her thought balloon. But then I realized that Mary does not have long blonde hair! So, then I'm thinking Toby. But she doesn't look like Toby. I was so confused. Let me say, though, that confusion loves company!
I'm hoping that second panel is going to be released as a lithograph. I want one! It would look so nice hanging above the buffet table at my Cinco de Mayo parties, as well as being a dandy conversation-starter.
Forget the thing on the table, what's the strange yellow thing coming out of the side of Mary's head??
¡OlĂ©!
I thought those yellow things on her vanity were Tetris blocks.
And, once again? No reflection in the mirror. Apparently, mirrors don't work reliably in this particular circle of Hell.
On the plus side, maybe we'll get to see how Mary welds those individual hairs into that white helmet thing on top of her head.
when I saw today's Mary Worth I laughed nonstop for five minutes. The combination of Toby-haired Mary Worth plus The second repeat of the through the glass panel was too much for me to take. I fell to the floor, full of uncontrollable laughter.
Only ten minutes later could I seriously think about what will soon be the biggest scandal in Mary Worth history. This raises so many questions. "What is Mary Worth's canon hair color?" "Are Bonny's and Ernie's souls actually Trapped in the glass?" " Is Joe Giella hurt or just lazy?" That plus the revival of the Bun vs man hair-style debate will keep the Mary Worth fan-forums going for months.
I always thought Mary had long hair and wore it in a french pleat - her hairdo is just too strange to be a short cut.
She needs some of those daylight bulbs too, the light is making her hair look yellow.
@ mrvy:
Here is a handy-dandy chart that will help you with that very thing!

Plan B: Dye hair and call in Laverne and Shirley
That's no sliding glass door. That's a diorama of the Crucifixion preserved in Lucite.
Recylced Mary Worth frames....? Of course! It's an Earth Day initiative!
