Mary Worth 749

Mary Worth may be "there" for Bonnie, to help her sort out the mess she calls life, and the mess she calls home, but she isn't such a great listener. In today's entire Sunday strip, all Bonnie manages to squeak out is a desperate, "Mary..." Perhaps she was trying to tell Mary that she's repeating herself terribly.

To all at Mary Worth and Me: "You all are INDIVID"..sorry, my thought balloon just can't stretch for another three letters.

The second time Mary made the "YOU deserve better" speech, she had her warm smiley face on, unlike the hard and mean one when she said it the first time. And instead of being frightened and ashamed, Bonnie? was so grateful for this tiny bit of kindness that she tried to hug Mary. Wrong move, of course, as Mary then had to strong-arm her to keep her at a proper distance. Perhaps this whole storyline is not about compulsive shopping/hoarding, but is instead a lesson in how Stockholm Syndrome actually comes about.

And what's so terrible about collecting pretty boxes? Unless, of course, a dismembered Ernie's parts are being stored in them.

I have first dibs on that darling little pink coat with the white fur collar! It would only make Bonnie look hippy, and pink is not Mary's or Toby's color.

This latest story line is moving so slowly and is so boring, it is like watching water drip. The end.
