Mary Worth 816

He'll meet you in Founding Fathers State Park by a bench. You'll know the bench because it's near a lamp post where shadows lurk in different directions regardless of light source. Latitude: 34.4389, Longitude: -119. I'm sure you'll run into each other.

He may be there to meet Dad, but he's secretlly waiting for his only friend, the white pigeon, to show up after all these years. Dad: "Are you sure you're my son? What have you done with your hair?"

I hope, hope, hope his dad shows up THIS time! If he doesn't, poor Jenna will never get that second date. I don't have a clue what the logic is in all this, but no matter...

And yes, where IS the upside-down pigeon? Perhaps he's flown on ahead to escort Lonnie to the proper bench.

Lets hope that Lonnie and Dr. Mike go fishing.

With time to kill before the meeting, Dr. Mike practices his Frankenstein's Monster technique.

After meeting Dr. Mike, Dear Old Dad will be more certain than ever that he made the right decision to leave.

Uh oh...I'm getting a very uneasy feeling, here! There's something ominous about this whole setup. Why the secret meeting at night in the park? Is Dr. Mike's father a vampire? Then again, noting that the moon is full, let's hope he's a werewolf! Ooh, maybe MW is about to jump into the whole ''Twilight'' scene!

Maybe I'm dense but if Dr Mike knows how to reach his father, why doesn't he just go over to the crackhouse/flophouse/dive where the father lives?

The whole storyline sucks but today it just got stupider, if that's possible.

I want Mike's dad to be Lonnie Johnson, the inventor of the Super Soaker, for three reasons:
1. His fame would explain the need for a secret meeting place.
2. His being black would explain Giella's need for dark shadows and Mike's need for a new hair color.
but best of all...
3. When Mary meets him, she can say, "Lonnie, Lonnie Johnson?"

The only thing that could redeem this sad, lame storyline for me would be if his father turns out to be Aldo. Or Aldo's evil twin. That would be cool.
