Mary Worth 842

Jenna, I know you don't deserve much, but even you can do better than this jerk. Do not let the flowers fool you. He's a liar, he's a teetotaler, and a closet vigilante. Run. Run as fast as you can and never look back.

I think the dandelions gone to seed are an interesting touch in the flower arrangement. Exactly what do they represent?

"...something beautiful and rare..." oh puleez. I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.
This guy doesn't even bother to call after the first date and then spouts some mush about their wonderful relationship...what a total loser. Wow, Mary Worth really is like real-life!

I feel all buzzy for some reason.

He can only date her on special occasions that involve fireworks. Otherwise, it just doesn't feel special.

I did blow you off... but you'll forgive me. -Mike"

Much as I would love to see Jenna blow off this lying loser, the magic elixir that Mary is serving her in those teacups will inevitably lead the two back to... more fireworks. Remember how we hoped that Mike's father was gay, just to make things interesting? Well, I'm hoping that Lonnie' ham-handed "alcohol is the devil!" rants were a cunning (I think this is as cunning as Moy can get) foreshadowing of a Great Conflict between Dr. Mike and Jenna, when they do get together. Or else they will live happily ever after, Mary Worth will rinse out her teapot, and we'll be on to the next excruciatingly dull storyline (I pause here to bang against wall).

The curious gift of cement Easter lilies raises some questions about Mike's intentions.

Something really deep that explains this stupid, torturous "relationship" must be lurking in the panels we're not shown here.
