What is it about rational Adrian on Sundays, but emotionally insecure Adrian on weekdays? All week she's been doubting herself because of Jill's manipulative statements: Your dress is old fashioned. I don't want to be a joke walking down the aisle. You're marrying below yourself. He is only a cop, and I'm a doctor. But last Sunday, Adrian was all Let's not worry about the dress, and now today: Lemon meringue pie is for losers. People can say what they want.
I hope Scott works hard all week but gets Sundays off. That's probably the best chance for their marriage.

Oh sure, Adrian's talking all big when Jill is long gone. Let's see her change her tune when they run into each other in the hospital.
I would like to point out how proud I am that the Worthiverse is able to acknowledge that sometimes women earn more than their mates. Maybe the next storyline will feature a woman who votes for someone who her husband disapproves of!
What the!?! Women can VOTE!?
ok...sad to say, but that witchy Jill may be onto something-- one of my best friends married "below her station", made LOTS more money than her husband...and it didn't work out either.
However, I'm CERTAIN Adrian and Scott will be just fine b/c Mary has deemed it so. And Scott's dad was just SUCH a great guy, and, and...of course, Adrian is so "highly reputed" and all.
Also that "Queenie" episode with Ted Confey? SOoooo OVER! Yeah.
Jill is particularly manly in the first panel, then looks much different in the very next panel. I guess she's able to morph her appearance at will, she she has the ability to hear conversations through brick walls. That's who Jill is ... she's Jaime Sommers!
Really? That's Jill in the 2nd panel? It looks like Toby Cameron to me. I was thinking what an awkwardly funny moment it would be when the two of them ran into each other, wearing identical outfits. Very hard for Jill to make scathing remarks about Toby's taste in clothes! Perhaps she would just praise Toby for having married above herself.
I just figured it out! That's Jill's problem that Mary has to meddle about...she had a relationship with someone "below her station" and it didn't work out.
Won't everyone be surprised when they learn tht Scott is the heir to jelly bean fortune.
