Mary Worth 888

Puppet Master: 1

Jill Black: 0

It's amazing how masterfully Mary Worth has convinced Adrian that she's making up her own mind. In the meddling game, we call this the "Double Dip."

What "hoopla"?!

Oh, come on! Are we going to chew the cud again all of this week by repeating/rephrasing how much we liked that first dress? Go back and buy it already! Yes, behind Jill, The Wedding Planner, Black's back. This defiant behavior might also set her off to go on a bloody rampage when she realizes her helpful opinion has been so obviously disregarded. We're about due for another shoot-out in Santa Royale, aren't we?

And Mary, please change your outfit. You're starting to give me seizures.

Say yes to the dress, Adrian. Indeed, go back and buy it, and try it on in the car.

I knew it! Remember a couple of weeks ago when this stupid story began,I wrote that a bride generally buys the first dress she tries on, because she think she looks like a princess and nothing after that can recreate that first moment?

Well, that "first princess moment" comes up against Adrian's normal ambivalance and weak nature. I wonder which side will win?

Adrian.... I THINK... you KNOW... what DRESS... you'd better damn well say yes to!! I'm putting so much energy into pointing this finger as hard as possible that it's making my eyes melt! DOES THAT MEAN NOTHING TO YOU!!

hoop-la: (noun) the excitement that emerges in an insipid mind if ever it is burdened with a decision to make
For example: Flustered by the hoopla and ritual involved in ordering pie, and grateful for Mary's resolve, Adrian agreed to lemon meringue.

For a minute there, I thought Mary had grabbed the steering wheel! It gave me a start it did!

ok, the dress issue has been solved, but what about the "marrying down" issue, hmmm? Bet that one sits on the back burner awhile to simmer!

Meanwhile, here in the Buckeye State, the land of Mary's birth and collegiate education, we are celebrating the end of another election cycle! No more phone surveys, no more incessant robo-calls, radio ads, visiting politicians, etc...Ahhhhh, silence! Well, until the next time. Back to you, Mary.

"No one can make up my mind for me!" I love Adrian's new rallying cry. As Mary sits next to her making up her mind for her.

Also, I'm vastly relieved -- today is the first day we've actually seen Adrian's hands on the wheel! She's been far too busy gesticulating and face-touching.

Adrian only had the chance to try on one dress because the wedding dress consultant, fearful of Mary and Jill, disappeared.....

How clever of Moy to sort of reference a cable network wedding gown show without actually naming the show correctly. And how clever to make Adrian think she's making up her own mind, while Mary sits smugly in the passenger seat, secure in the knowledge her mastery of the universe (aka Santa Royale) remains intact.

I don't have to do anything that I don't want to do. I will marry down if I want to. I will look silly if I want to. I will walk down the aisle as a joke if I want to. I will give scammers $50,000 if I want to. Is that OK with you Mary?

I, for one, LOVE to make my extra special talking points whilst pointing to the sky.

I'm telling ya, chicks dig it!
