I'm convinced that Adrian is just bringing Jill along for the laughs. "Scott, you have to be there. Jill is hilarious. It's like her brain has no filters. And she gets Mary Worth all worked up, so it's twice the fun!"
The stationary store's interior design is as low-key as their cards.

Wanders, that's a perfect theory. It's the only thing that makes sense. Meanwhile, was Mary Worth a bumblebee in a former life? What's with the yellow and black themed clothing??
That's not a low-key stationary store, that's a warehouse down by the docks - kind of like the one where Scott took a bullet. Boy, I bet that takes him back. Good times, good times!
Is the theme of this story line the emergence of Adrian's self-assurance as she learns to counter Jill's negativity? Or will it be Mary's taking on Jill as a reclamation project? Or both?
Or is it the anti-depressant properties of lemon meringue pie?
Jill prefers the design on the opposite page with the Red Cross logo.
Where are we having lunch today?
Why is Jill there? The mortality rate at Mountview must be 100 percent. You are edmitted and good as dead.
Coming up: Adrian, Mary and Jill visit the bridal registry at Masies. Jill hates Adrian's china pattern. Then they go out to lunch.
Note to Karen Moy: Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
What is the point of Ann Coulter, er, Jill being there? She's not adding anything to the storyline with this predictable behavior. Gosh I wish we could have another Aldo. This storyline is dragging even more than Wilbur eating his sandwiches and hanging out with Kurt.
This storyline is like watching some bizzaro version of ''Little House on the Prairie'' where Laura Ingalls takes Nellie Olsen to help her plan her wedding.
But, Jill, the invitations are so "us." After all, Scott's boring, and I reek of mediocrity...
Wanders, I wish the story could be that exciting!
It takes four (!) people to choose wedding invitations??? Scott, run like the wind!
Jill and Mary are starting to remind me of the shoulder devil and angel characters you see in cartoons.
Is that Scott or the saleperson from STATIONARY hovering over Adrain, Mary and Jill?
I'd love to windowshop in Santa Royale. Maybe get a popsicle and stroll down the boulevard, check out STATIONARY, MILLIE'S PENCIL STORE, THE STRING SHOPPE, CLASPS PLUS, JARS AND STUFF, THE SOCK HUT, BATTERY WORLD, etc.
If any couple should elope it's these two.
Where is Bonnie? Bonnie Johnson? when you need her? Now THERE'S a gal that could teach Adrian a thing or two about shopping!
@trixitrudy - or maybe Jill and Mary are Goofus and Gallant!
Make no mistake. This story ends with a grim-faced Mary kneecapping Jill in the parking lot behind the church on Adrian's wedding day.
Adrian's wedding day! It would be a mistake to invite that girl to the wedding. Given the choice to speak now or forever hold her peace, I think we all know what she would do.
Perhaps this story is about to veer off into an exciting new direction. The way Scott and Adrian are looking at Jill makes me think they're both in love with her. And Mary is looking even more disturbed than before.
Umm...Adrian, I wouldn't run around bragging to people about how "simple" I am; you're going to get a lot of agreement on that and your feelings might be hurt.
@ Toots -- our minds think alike! In fact, I think I'll mosey on down to Paper Clip World on the corner.
I don't think that's Scott, either! Seems to me most guys would rather poke their eyes out with sharp sticks than "oooh" and "ahhh" over fancy fonts on pretty paper! I think Scott had some reports to file down at the precinct or something.
Adrian certainly OWES Jill-- even though it's "not her event", Jill has apparently cut her own hours at Mountview in order to assist Adrian.
Can't Scott get the guys who did the STAKEOUT brochure to do the wedding announcements? They have a copy machine and those blue papers with ink on them, darn, Chester forgot what they are called, mimeographs? Help!
@Maude Findlay: Love the Nellie Ingalls reference. Love today's comments everyone.
