My word verification was domman....short for dominate the man? Though I'm not sure I'd really classify Drew as a man. Wow. It's "my way or the highway"..I'm going to try this on my next date and see where that lands me...jail probably.
I started reading Mary Worth a few months back, because I was intrigued by Jill's being a psychotic nut. I think that Liza is most definately worse!
If Drew doesn't drop her like a sack of rabid rats, then there is something seriously wrong with him! I'd be running full-tilt in the opposite direction!
Drew doesn't look like he's actually participating in this kiss. If I weren't getting some lip action here, I'd think the message is coming through loud and clear.
Sure wish I could go through life telling everyone "it's my way or the highway!" Would make things soooo much easier, esp. at work, and everyone would just do as I say, lol! Awesome. Trouble is, I'm thinking LiZa's highway is prolly named "Kelrast Road" if ya' know what I mean!
At any moment, Lizzzzzzza is going to call Drew at the hospital (or his home), say "play Misty for me", and hang up. She'll then track down one of Drew's many exes, cut their hair off and threaten to throw them off a cliff. And Clint Eastwood will save the day. Naturally.
Word verification is "slutio". Is that a cross between Lizzzzzzza and a patio?
Sunday's strip reveals some interesting things about Santa Royale: doctors and nurses at the hospital get weekends off (do they send the patients home?) and, after business hours, the bank turns into a dinner restaurant. No wonder most of the people who choose to live there are either stupid or psychotic!

"The kiss that sucked all daylight from the sky" also appears to have drawn a miniature badger in the shading atop Drew's nose.
I nominate this for the least attractive, least romantic, least sexy kiss ever depicted in two dimensional art.
So her kiss contorts the recipient into a Rorschach test? That's great, kids. Sooooo pretty!
@Karen 8:12 am - you forgot least sane female leading role. Outside of Black Swan, maybe...
I hope Drew will think of Liza's challenge, "My way or the highway," as (in sports terminology) a "slam dunk."

Drew: "The exit to I-5 is right over there."
Did I miss Drew's "no"?
Oh, please, if Dr Drew doesn't run like a cheetah in Monday's strip, then there's truly something wrong in the world.

The kiss that staunched a thousand whips.
Emmy, Jill was at least entertaining. Liza's not nearly as interesting.

Been gone all day....just saw "kiss"....shudder!!!! Liza = dementor?

@Shmoopie: I thought the same. Light disappearing and soul sucking.
The dementor's kiss to a T. What next, inferi?
"...a sack of rabid rats" THAT made my day!
What a hussy!! I thought she was going to molest him right there on the street!!

The Liza Colby of ALL MY CHILDREN's Pine Valley would have been far more clever at trapping Drew than the one in Santa Royale.

umm.. I think that a 'relationship' needs to have 2 WILLING participants.
...and if I were Drew, I would be looking for that highway.
word verification: ambiva as in "ambivalent". Google doesn't care what happens between Drew and LiZa.
Why do these two express their true feelings via thought balloons? Maybe that's one of things Liza wants to work on as they "nurture being a couple."
I can't tell which one of these losers is more clueless about dating. Frankly, I don't want to know. Can we get a new story now, please?
Liza seems to be hopped up on prescription meds so technically her way is the high way right now.
