Holy cow! Triple Face Touch! I think that's a new record. And it's a good thing they all touched their faces -- otherwise, how else would we know they were scared.
I love the symmetry of the face touching! Gina touching her right cheek, mom touching her left, dad touching his forehead. Can it get any better than this?!
Dad has now been disturbed NEARLY as long as Gina's flashbacks of girlie (but true!) love. Meaning we won't see what happened to dad, or what he did, until just before the weekend. If we're lucky.
I would love to see Giella's visual of Dad walking outside and infecting the entire town with his "scared" pose. I'd pay good money to see a street full of face-touching neighbors all "pale as a sheet."
''I saw these two guys, just hanging out, on the corner...a car drove by, and then shots rang out! Some guy wearing glasses screamed; ''Richie! Nooooo!'' The blonde guy slumped to the floor, uttering; ''Avenge me!''
The guy wearing glasses started shaking uncontrollably, clenched his fists, and started slamming shots, mumbling something about becoming a vigilante. I high-tailed it on outta there! Do we have any beer?''
Poor Mary is already ancient, and by the time Gina gets through this story she'll be dead. I think I'd excuse myself with, "Do you think you could get to the point? I've had to pee for about 2 weeks now."
How big a tip do you think this tale of woe will earn Gina? She's gonna milk it for as much as she can. Maybe she can get Mary to kick in for tuition. How about a change to the will?
Not so fast, Anon@6.55. Mary might not live long enough to get to the end of Gina's tale o'woe. I'm losing conscienceness fast, and I'm only reading this dreck. Can you imagine being told it in real time?
"we were scared...that's the only way we knew to be..." lol! "well, except for happy... happy and scared.... those were the only two ways that we knew to be..."

Gina, would you PLEASE GET TO THE POINT!!! (I know caps in emails are construed as shouting. That is my intent.)

You know, Dad may be scared and sweaty, and Mom & Gina may be scared and sweaty.......but WHAT ABOUT ME??!?!
I'm scared and sweaty too!!

@Tony, I agree, get to the point, poor Mary must have vultures picking at her bones by now.
Dad and Gina look scared. Mom looks murderous. She's pretty sure that whatever happened to tear apart their very happy family, it was Dad's fault.
"You ran over my 10 year old boyfriend didn't you, Daddy? My life has been twisted by fate in such a cruel manner."

The suspense is killing me. WHAT HAPPENED?! How much longer do we have to wait for the denoument (or whatever that fancy French word it)?
I'm getting older here...and not much wiser.
I'll be very disappointed if it turns out he just lost his cell phone.
Gina. Give up already. You're making this story up as you tell it.
