Santa Royalty Messenger Service. When it absolutely positively has to be there between six to eight weeks.
Arena soccer?? It's not even a professional team? The ironic thing about indoor soccer is that you can play off the wall, making for a faster paced game. Isn't that ironic?

We finally have our definitive answer: two days in the Worthiverse = 22 days in the real world. I know I've felt every one of them.
I'm not sure we're still in the Worthiverse. Gina's bedroom curtains are green; not pink!
Whatever she stuffed in that envelope could indeed be a snakeskin, a link of nostalgic gum wrappers or some old negatives, that's for sure. Or...given all the inconsistent effects of light, color and shadow in the strip, maybe that long whitish thing is the sun glinting off the matted ponytail Gina had cut off in a fit of anguish after her family was relocated so many years ago.
Will Major Player Bobby Black recognize his adolescent crush when that ungodly hank of hair spills out after he tears open the cryptic envelope? Will he somehow be stunned into believing that's all that's left of Gina after a mobster wasted her to throw him off his game, therefore handing the contest to the home Soccer Team? (Something has to happen. I can't take this any more, yet I cannot look away.)
In a desperate effort to use every avenue available to her, Gina places another phone call:
"Santa Royale Semaphore Society? I'd like to hire you to bring a message across. Yes, today. At the Arena. You know, during THE BIG GAME!"
Bobby's game is going to be seriously off when he suddenly gets bombarded with messages from Gina coming from the coach, the bellhop and the Santa Royalty Messenger Service - with all the enclosed snakeskins/hair/negatives that she's throwing his way. On top of that, now the semaphores. What's next, smoke signals?
Santa ROYALTY? Are they the rulers of Santa Royale?
Gina, get off your lazy butt and walk over to the HOTEL or the ARENA yourself. Sanya Royale is not that large of a city, and you have nothing better to do. the DINER won't miss you.
Not smoke signals, Elaine@8.49a, SKY WRITING. Which Bobby Black will miss because the team is playing inside.
Dear Lord, I really wish, hope, and pray that Bobby Black is gay and ends up bonding with young Dr what's-his-name over "Mens Fitness" magazine.
Holy cow, I missed the "Royalty" part when I read the strip in the newspaper. Is Moy trying to be clever, or was that a typo?
The Santa Royalty Messenger Service is incompetent bellhop Freddie on a beat-up bike. We'll see him attempting to maneuver unsuccessfully through the thousands of vehicles converging on ARENA. Fate's cruel hand will wipe that smirk off Gina's face!
WV: "Dismo" - apt description of this storyline
If only there was some other form of communication that Gina could use to contact Bobby. Perhaps this new-fangled electronic mail system I've heard tell about. Why didn't Mary tell Gina about the wonders of Facebook and the internets, as she was taught by Wilbur? I know we saw Gina do an online search, but are we really supposed to believe that a sports star wouldn't have a web site, or maybe even several, along with a contact email or two? What's Gina's next step, a telegram by pony express?
It's all coming together now. In the major indoor soccer league, one knows the names of the players and they make very little money. When Gina and Bobby get back together it will be a perfect place for someone in the witness protection program to hide out.
We have now seen Gina go through several phases of facial expression and mood, yet they all suggest a very pervasive underlying psychosis, an almost embarrassing mental retardation.
What I now need to know is who dresses her in the morning?
Let's hope to God that whomever is on the other end opf the line doesn't ask "What big game?"
If the messenger service arrives to pick up the letter on a horse with saddle bags, I'm outta here. Really. (ok not really; who am I kidding?)
If anyone wants a good bit of amusement, check out the wikipedia Mary Worth entry. My favorite line was how Moy was brought on to change the 'glacial pace' of the strip.
It's obvious what will happen next. The strangely lumpy envelope will be confiscated by Arena Security.
Arena will be cleared- the dozens filling Arena will stampede hysterically out (remember the scene of the theatre patrons stampeding out in "The Blob"?).
Santa Royalty Tactical Police will blow up the envelope. Homeland Security will take Gina, and ALL her known associates, into custody and waterboard them. Mary will spill her guts, and Gina will be sent to Gitmo.
Bobby and Blazes will board Team Bus and proceed to their next sad venue, Charterstone Rec Room.
wow i rem same day messenger being about a 100 dollars ten years ago ? did gina rob the register she doesnt get any tips.
The really bad news is- Freddie the Hard of Hearing Bellhop's second job is working for Santa Royalty Messenger Service.
For crying out loud Gina. I will be over in 30 minutes to pick you up and drive you to the hotel. If we don't see Bobby there, then I will happily take you to the arena. Let's get on with this already.
For inspiration for the Big Game episode, Moy should watch the Jean-Claude Van Damme classic Sudden Death. Jean-Claude battles an evil mastermind and the Pittsburgh Penguins mascot during a hockey game, eventually battling the villain on the roof of the arena.
Bobby Black could play the hero, battling the mob kingpin (who's revealed to be Mr. Hamfist Christie Manager himself!) Bobby rescues Hina just in time before Mr. Hamfist can strangle her with her own ponytail.
What excitement!
The answer to "I have a delivery I want to make" is: "Go ahead."
Will this ever end? It is sapping my will to live, but...first thing in the morning I read MW, then MW & Me. Bless you, Wanders, for shepherding us through the unending unendingness that is Mary Worth. And Hina.
I am a huge hockey fan and never even on the day of the seventh game of the Stanley Cup finals have I referred to it as Big Game Day. I Will Kill Myself If We Lose Day, but never Big Game Day.
