Mary Worth 1,159

Worked? Hard? At what?? Warming up the seats in the booths? You'd think Alison would be the LAST person to suggest that Gina worked hard.

In the last panel, what is Gina's left arm doing??

Words cannot express how dimwitted the conversation between Mary and Alison is. Are they even talking about Gina? Hard working? Doing what?

And all this stuff about "finding love" is becoming a mite tiresome to this long-time deranged reader. Let's move on to some non-love story lines?

@Mike - I don't know about Gina's left arm, it's certainly suspect, but her right arm is giving the royal wave to all of Bobby's admirers as they drive down the boulevard of bliss. Gina wants them all to find love. Maybe that has something to do with what her left arm is doing......

Gina is laughing at Bobby's corny joke: "If you don't like my driving, stay off the sidewalk!" Hahaha! (where he appears to be driving).

Yes Mary, you played a part in reconnecting Gina and Bobby, we get it already.

Gina worked hard at stalking Bobby in Santa Royale, that's what she worked hard at.

Sure she was easy to work with, Alison. You covered the tables Gina ignored, you collected the tips.

Is Mary praying in the blue panel? Wringing her hands as she realizes this meddlefest has come to an end? Either way, it looks odd.

Mary must long for the days of her youth (when she was maybe in her 80's) when she had REAL adventures.
One of these days, she is going to rebel against the boring plots and stupid lines Moy is giving her. The inner conflict will send Moy to a mental hospital but, due to a psychiatric nurse who's too busy making googly eyes at a doctor to do her job, she'll still be able to sneak out her daily drivel, so neither Mary nor We will catch a break.

Mike in Cleveland: That's not Gina's arm- it's the arm of the guy Bobby just hit with his car.

When is Moy going to let us see the huge "Occupy Santa Royale" group on the park opposite City Hall? I believe their chant is "1 percent, no! Mary Worth must go!" Apparently businesses are afraid to open in Santa Royale, conventions avoid Convention Center, the Santa Royale convention center, and diners (including Diner) are gong out of business, all because of the 99%'s fear of being medleed by Mary.

Further, Mary is suspected of being the source of the deadly and highly contagious disease cheiroopsisaptesopathia (compulsive touching of the hand to the face), for which no cure has been found. Unless some vaccine is found soon, all of Santa Royale will be placed in quarantine. Agents of the CDC are trying to find Gina before she can contaminate all of New York.

I don't know where today's self-congratulatory victory dinner is supposed to be taking place, but I guess that headless guy behind Toby is a nice touch for Halloween.

The mutual poking in the second panel is spookier though.

What kind of poke IS that? What the hell's up with Toby's hand. It's like she's caught between finger-quoting, making a claw with her fingers, and jabbing Mary's irritable, smug smile out of the hemisphere.
Look at Toby's eyes, y'all. See their glassiness. FEEL the hate building up in there. One of these days, there's going to be a murder at Charterstone, but nobody'll care.

"Occupy Santa Royale"

Hahahaha!
I love it!

Ah, a new plot begins on Halloween - in whose life will Mary now meddle?

Zoning laws in Santa Royale mandate that all establishments serving food must have pink draperies and menacing plants.

If you ask me, Alison dodged a bullet when Gina left.
