The right half of that panel reminds me very much of an R. Crumb comic.
So if Nola admitted to several crimes I'm thinking she's going to take on a new name and skip town quickly (another Nola epiphany?), then it's off to a new storyline.
I'm about ready to burst into song, particularly "Amazing Grace." "I once was lost/but now am found..."
