Now we understand the importance of the sippy cups. Today is the big payoff when Jim crushes his cup in anger. Everything in the Worthiverse has its purpose.
Maybe the Happy Hobo will add Jim's sippy cup to his shopping cart and then ask Jim, "Are you all right?" Jim will then crush HH's neck, and Dawn will again shout "No, Jim...wait!"
"No, Jim...wait! It isn't your missing arm, or even the age difference. It's the fact that you're an angry, psychotic, creepy, dead sister-obsessed nutball. Other than that, I really want to be friends."
birdie, it's because she's wearing a power suit. Since Dawn is clearly failing in her self-proclaimed mission to help Jim, I think she should join the army...
Well played Jim. Have a psychotic episode, crush your sippy cup, and storm away, that lwill make her want you. Oh wait in the Worthiverse it just might work. But alas we will have to wait three or four months for it to pan out.
I nominate the Dry Lime Soda Sippy Cups aka (DLSSC) for an honorary Hospital HiFi (HHiFi) Award. The DLSSCs have been awesome. No offense to Chin Napkin (CN) intended.

No, Jim! Wait! That bottle is RECYCLABLE!

We are one nutball short of a trifecta.
Dawn: "Life is brutal."
Wilbur: "I'm sorry for your loss. How about going with me on a nice Mediterranean cruise?"
To quote, in monotone, the immortal Gene Wilder as the immortal Willy Wonka: "Stop. Wait. Come back."
It just hit me looking at the street sign post in yesterday's strip: the theater must be on Sesame Street. And Jim certainly is a grouch.
Dawn yelling: "I just wanted to say thanks again for the movie and drink!!!"
Wow, Jim really has a disarming personality, doesn't he?

I think Dawn's a good liar.
It looks to me like Dawn is about to put some kind of spell on Jim. Look at those radiating lines of power.

Ghost of Aldo Kelrast: "Jim, let me introduce you to my good friend 'Johnny'".
(Of course Jim will have to knee-steer in order to drink and drive but at least this miserable storyline would be over.)

Why does Dawn look like she is about to fly away?
