Srsly: creepy Mary, pimpin' along.

And as for Mr. Load, he pimped for the wrong team (in my book) this election...but anyway...

Happy Thanksgiving, kids!

Loaf, not Load... although, maybe...

No doubt Mary is serving Meatload for her Thanksgiving feast.
I agree, that woman is seriously creeping me out with encouraging Dawn to be more than friends with hapless Jim then laying on the guilt when she won't. And her arm! Eek!!
Happy Thanksgiving, one and all!

Paul--So inspired, that comment!

But seriously now, how many pieces of pie are these chicks going to eat?

My WordVer is OldNav--Is this a product placement?

Oh, way to lay a guilt trip, Mary. However, you're going to have to be a lot less subtle. You're dealing with the supremely self-centered Dawn Weston, here.

On a personal note, I'd like to say that this year I am adding this blog, its many contributors, and our kind and genial host, Wanders, to the many blessings for which I am thankful. Happy Thanksgiving, all!

Can there be any doubt that Mary is suffering from dementia? Moy?

Right there with you Paul. Came home from Thanksgiving dinner to a weighty clump of Meatloaf.

(Am looking forward to sleeping off the Meatloaf, with a day off Friday. W 25th shopping, West Side Market trip, and lunch at Market Garden Brewery ahead Cleveland posters!).

Happy Thanksgiving all!

In part because of this thread, we actually made meatloaf yesterday. It was incredible. I followed the basic tutorial recently provided over at Deadspin and cannot recommend it too highly. It was enormous, it was ridiculous, and it was just plain amazing. Google Deadspin and meatloaf, and prepare for a heck of a meal.

In the second panel of Saturday's strip, is Mary thinking of poor Dr. Jeff, and how many times she's rejected his proposals?

In the last panel of Sunday's strip, why is Dawn trying to force-feed Mary a cup and saucer?
