Mary is speechless in panel 1 because she's never seen anybody give himself a wedgie before. She's agape in panel 2 to learn that Sean still drives. Logic now demands that she either talk him out of that or else browbeat him into moving out of Somerset and into Charterstone.
Hanna seems obsessed with the shuttle to the exclusion of every other question she may have. How much? Can children have overnight visits? Is there a high-stakes poker table on games night? Are there pool parties? How many single men live here? But with Hanna, it's all about the shuttle...
Somerset, for all its shuttles and nattily attired widowers, seems less than ideal as a retirement community. Instead of having her own apartment, Felicia is in "room 203". I hope, at least, that she doesn't have to share a bathroom.
Good observation, @fauxprof. The outside view of the building we saw the other day didn't look very inviting, either.
But certainly there seems to be some chemistry going on between Sean and Hannah. She's infatuated with the fact he has a car. He's infatuated with the fact she's a female and is still breathing.
Funny how it works: When you're 18, the ladies are impressed you have a car. Time passes, everyone drives. Then when you're 81, the ladies are again impressed you have a car. Excuse me while I store my car for 63 years. Doesn't matter what kind, I'm waiting awhile, then WE'RE BACK!
