"Two people? Oh, yeah, what's her name, that we spent the afternoon with... Felicia something... Yes, I really look forward to getting to know Sean Hastings better."
I'm embarrassed that I did this, but I held up my hands to see which giant hand in the foreground that had to be: it was Mary's left hand (her left). What an odd angle - or is that a random peace sign being flashed by some passerby?
It's a start all right. If Hanna meets two additional people per year at Somerset for the next three years, she'll know eight people! Of course, if Sean kicks the bucket before the three years are up, she'll have to find a replacement.
Hmm... At first, I thought Mary was giving us a peace sign or maybe a benediction, but now I realize it's a somewhat sloppy V for victory now that she's meddled Hanna right out of Charterston condos. Now for a slice of ghost pie with Toby Cameron to recap Mary's wonderful accomplishments!
Although I should find the whole 'man-crazy old widow' amusing, I don't. It seems demeaning to elderly women, somehow. But, when the comedy gold starts pouring forth, I'm sure I'll change my mind!

"Peace out, Hanna - keep on truckin'. (Er... as long as you don't drive.)"
