The mother daughter relationship is always a challenging one. First, mom doesn't want you to date boys who pick you up after 10. Then she doesn't want you to leave your fatherless child with her so you can date boys who pick you up after 10.
By the time this plot resolves, Gordy will be old enough to watch himself. . . Then what WILL these two squabble over? And will there be any readers of Mary Worth LEFT?!
I think maybe Karen Moy should stop seeing us. She could just be taking advantage of lonely old readers who pine for the days when comic strips respected the laws of physics and reflected some semblance of actual human discourse.

Maybe Hanna should voice concerns about Hot Date Dave. That's quite a bruise on Amy's cheek.

If I crossed my legs the way Amy is doing, I'd crumple to the floor when I'd attempt to stand.
A proposal: Amy should date Sean and Hanna should date Dave. This could open amazing new vistas for them and for we bored readers.
Am I the only one who wants to bop Amy up-side her head. She's really getting on my last nerve.

Amy is using her hand to raise her left eye to the same level as her right eye.
Hey! Maybe Hanna's vision problems are due to her crooked glasses!
